Now that spring is on it's way, it's time to prepare your skin. With short sleeves and skirts on their way, not to mention bikinis and cozzies, we thought we would give you some tips on how to get your skin in tip top condition for the great exposure!
Firstly, dry skin brushing before your shower works wonders, not only to encourage your skin to regenerate and bring fresh cells to the surface (exfoliate) but its also great for your circulation so will bring more oxygen to your skin to feed it and help give you a lovely summer glow. Avon do a nifty little body brush. This can usually be found in the Planet Spa range in your Avon brochure.
Next step when you are first in the shower: Wet skin first, then Exfoliate (not every time you shower, but just once per week unless your skin is particularly sluggish, then do twice per week). We like Avon's Skin So Soft Enhance & Glow Luminous Body Scrub for this time of year because it will give you a touch of glow too, however there is a great range to choose from in your Avon brochure.
When you've rinsed your exfoliant off thoroughly, turn to our current favourite shower super-heroes. Firstly wash in Avon skin so soft mineral gems glamorous gold body wash, and then when you are almost finished in the shower, smother yourself in Avon's new skin so soft in-shower moisturiser. As far as we're concerned its a must-have for every shower!
Pat your skin dry and lock in the moisture with Avon dry oil body spray, again from Avon's Skin so Soft range! Or if you prefer, Avon have an amazing range of fabulous body lotions and body butters ranging from lotions for sensitive skin to fragranced ones - check out the Avon Planet Spa range or what about the Avon naturals range with a scrumptious range of fragrances such as strawberry?
Or maybe you would like to use a body lotion that matches your favourite Avon perfume? The choice is endless with Avon.
Most of us struggle to find the right foundation for our skin at some point. Our skin alters as we age and it alters with the changing of the seasons and all manner of things such as illnesses and central heating can also dictate whether our skin is dry, oily or combination so it's no wonder it can be a bit of a minefield choosing the right one.
Below is a table from our Experts at #Avon to help you to choose the ideal foundation for your skin. The Avon whipped matt foundation for example is no good for dry skins, however the Ideal Flawless Invisible coverage foundation is perfect.
If you need all day coverage and your skin is normal or combination, then you will find that the extra lasting liquid foundation will do the job for you.
Want a very light coverage but need to damp down some redness in your skin? Avon's CC Cream is perfect for you.

Avon Skin So Soft Dry Oil Body Spray is a top performer in keeping bugs at bay at a fraction of the cost of other products, but don't just take our word for it. Here's what 'Horse and Hound' had to say:
Avon Skin So Soft Dry Oil Body Spray is a best seller. It is a fantastic moisturiser.
Top tip on how to use your moisturiser from Qualified Beauty Therapist and Avon Sales Leader and devotee, Bernadette Broadley: Spray on Avon Skin So Soft dry oil body spray all over when you have come out of the shower and skin is still slightly damp.
This will have the effect of sealing in the moisture and will help keep your skin silky smooth and smelling beautiful all day long.
There are other uses for this amazing product from Avon! Here are just a few more that we have stumbled across whilst researching on the internet:
We are reliably informed that Avon SSS will also keep mosquitoes at bay. In fact when Mel Gibson and his film crew were filming BraveHeart in Scotland, they ordered hundreds of bottles as they were told that it is the only product that keeps the midges away!
Use as a tear-free way to get rid of head lice: Cover hair with product and comb out all the lice and nits with a nit comb. Repeat a week later.
Can also be used as a chewing gum remover! The oily consistency is brilliant at freeing up pesky dried up chewing gum from furniture.
