Because while the weather is nice you can get plenty of exercise canvassing your roads (to perfect your bikini body!). Not only that, but if you put the time in now establishing yourself as the local Avon Representative while the sun is shining and its easy and pleasant to get out and about, by the time it comes to making Bumper sales in your Avon brochures (the build-up to Christmas starts in September believe it or not!) you will be well established and your customers will know they can trust you to supply them with their favourite Avon goodies on time. You will also be established enough to do one-stop-dropping which will save you so much time when the weather turns cold.
If you are intending to sell your Avon products online, you can promote yourself on face book whilst you are sunning yourself either in the back garden, local park or from wherever you are enjoying the weather. Set yourself up a face book page and promote your Online Avon Shop. Download the many images and promotional videos Avon provide you on your online pages and make sure you post them regularly. Again, by the time the christmas selling starts you will be well established and have plenty of avon customers.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run your own successful Avon business? Perhaps you have Become an Avon Rep in the past and it didn't work out for you and you have often wondered why running an Avon business has worked so well for others yet not for you? Look no further!
I have outlined a few tips for you here on how to grow a successful business.
So my first point is this. Avon UK is a Network Marketing Company. When you Join Avon, you join a team. Make sure that the person that signs you up leaves you with their contact details and that they keep in touch with you. Do they have an Avon facebook page that you can join for example? Are they on WhatsApp? Have they made arrangements to hook up with you another time to ensure you are OK with everything? Have they given you hints and tips on how to find your Avon customers? How to canvass your area? How to set up your Online Avon Shop? Are they on hand to support you?
No worries if they have disappeared without a trace. Here are some other 'ports of call' to help you. Firstly, you have your very own Avon Representative website. On here, you have a mine of useful information and step-by-step videos. It really is worth spending some time on here. You have literally everything you need to know on this site, from how to put your Avon orders in to how to set up your online shop to how to host an Avon Party! Go and take a browse round ( go to avon.uk.com and log in using your account number and chosen password)
Still not happy? Well, here are some top tips to help you get off to a flying start:
(1) As mentioned above, go onto your personal Avon website and take a tour round all the videos and information provided on there
(2) Are you covering roads? If you're first starting out, only leave your avon brochure with people for 3 days - any more could be too long (may end up under a pile of magazines) - any less could be not enough. Then recycle the brochures with another bunch of people and so on.... this may seem time consuming but initially you are canvassing so the sooner you know 'how the land lies' on your allocated Avon territory, the better.
(3) Ask family and friends to share your avon brochures around with their friends/family/work colleagues.

So, if you are already an Avon Representative but are disappointed in how things are going, have a look at what you are doing with your business and how you are doing it. Be honest with yourself. Are you doing everything you can to get the word out there that you are an Avon Representative?
Have you shown your brochure around ALL of your Avon territory?
Have you made sure ALL your friends and family know that you have Become An Avon Representative?
Have you tried re-canvassing your Avon roads?
Have you set up your Online Avon Shop and sent the link out to EVERYONE YOU KNOW?
Have you set up an Avon Facebook Selling Page and invited everyone on your face book friends list? Are you posting regularly on there so that everyone knows what you have available?
When did you Join Avon? Are your expectations realistic? New businesses sometimes take at least a year to get off the ground. Although I would expect that you should see an improvement in an avon business month on month, and through time you will pick up extra customers from your existing customers and so on.
If you have honestly tried all of these avenues, get back to your Avon Sales Leader or Area Manager and ask them for some more support. Perhaps they can change your roads for you? With the fantastic selection of products in your Avon brochures and on your Online Avon Shop, there really is no good reason why you shouldn't be able to build a really successful business with Avon.
But Hang On... Maybe you want more out of your business than just being a rep can give you? Have you considered Avon Sales Leadership. This is such a lucrative business. Maybe your forte is finding and recruiting people? Honestly, the possibilities with Avon are endless. If your business isn't working then it's likely you haven't got all the information you need. Never be afraid to ask for help. Thats the beauty of this business. Its all about helping others succeed. If you are working, then Avon will work. It really is as simple as that.

Personally I did lots of research before I ultimately decided to Join Avon. I remember seeing an interview on GMTV with an incredibly successful lady who was earning over £250,000.00 pa thanks to her Avon business (It didn't happen overnight though - she had been an Avon Representative and Sales Leader for 7 years - and it took lots of hard work, time and commitment on her part but it just shows what is possible with this company). When I first joined Avon I decided I was going to cover houses locally because I was new to the area and I thought it would be a great way of getting to know people in the area. I was right. It was not long before people were calling me their Avon Lady. Now I have to be honest with you and say that unlike some of my fabulous team members, some of whom are achieving fantastic sales from day 1, my sales at first weren't great. I was disappointed. I expected to make loads of money straight away with very little effort. But then when I actually sat and thought about it logically, I realised that distributing my brochures around was a little like owning lots of little Avon shops. I needed to promote my products and be persistent and reliable.
